Hah! The office gonna be very very quiet. Usually Janice wud be the one making alot of noise and disturbing Linda, and the office wud be more lively BUT today is Janice's last day. Linda will be on leave in 3 weeks time to prepare for her exams. Thursday will be Janet's last day bcos of some issues she decided to resign and concentrate on her psychology job. Trislin will be leaving in mid november. OMG! In fact, all the them have been looking out for other job opportunities. Almost every 2-day or so, I'll hear blah blah is going for an interview during break time. The one who always amuses me is Jane. She simply cant wait to get outta this job but she's jus kinda lazy to look for other jobs. And now the only thing that can motivate her to really get her working hard to send resumes out will be when everyone leaves the unit. But she's hoping so hard that the unit will close down eventually and transfer her to another unit then. Everyday I will hear her grumbling and grumbling non-stop. In the morning, after she finish grumbling how sian is the job then she will start making calls. Then after every call, she will either grumble how irritating some customers are, putting a very pissed-off look or when she get nice customers she will jus starting praising how nice the customers are, so happy machiam a kid who got a new toy. Its pretty amusing seeing her like this bcos of her funny expressions and whiny grumbles. Her seat is jus 2 seats away from me but now that Janice has transferred, there's no more barrier between Jane and I. Cant imagine if am in the middle of the phone call and she's doing her daily routine grumblings. LOL
Today is a very lousy day. Today's customers are kinda unfriendly laa. Combed 72 leads but only 5 are successful. Yesterday combed 27 but had 12 successful ones. Wad a big difference?! And today is the second time I made a call to a Mr. and a lady answered the call and claimed that SHE's Mr. xxx that am looking for. Wad the?!! I guess its his wife who picked up the call but why cant she jus say he's not ard. She doesnt sound the least like a guy at all. Madness.
Tmr is Wednesday. wednesday = knock off earlier. Yippie!

Monday blues
Kinda slack at work today. FMS system broke down. Yay! Most of the things were quite cropped up thou. The system also has monday blues laa. Well, I jus take my own sweet time doing the stuffs. I think am supposed to comb at least 50 or 60 leads each day but I only combed 27 leads. See how lazy I was today. Cant be bothered anyway so long we still hit our daily target. In fact, we got more than our target.
I really don like the computer in the office laa. The darn computer is retarded. It doesnt allow me to plug in my mp3 cable. Argh. And I'd to dig out my CDs and bring it to the office to listen. Lucky the CD-drive works. Hahas! Smart?! Kinda adapted to the working environment. Jus 2+ more weeks and am done but! I was told tat i mite be asked to extend my contract bcos of my colleagues are taking turns to leave the unit laa. How how? I thot of looking for other admin jobs after this but I don like the thot of adapting to a new environment again. Moreover, the people here are really nice and its kinda slack and am comfortable with my current working environment. The only thing tat irks me is the BORING routined stuffs tat I've to do!!

Another new week again
Sat 21st.Oct
Watched Death Note with Flingy.Datou.Chimpy.Goufeng.Gan @ PS. The movie was great. NICE! Looking forward for part II in december. L is very cute laa. LOL. After movie, went for rocher beancurd.
Things wudn't turn out tat way if arent for my stubborness and pettiness.

And.. to the kind-hearted chimpy. Actually I only realised u missed ur stop when we were somewhere at bedok. Sorry laa. Ni shi hao ren laa.

Wed 18th.Oct
Finally met up with Flingy since a month ago. 2 mad cutesies were laughing non-stop when we saw each other at the train station. Dinner at pastamania. Did alot of catching up and some window shopping. I simply miss those times together.
Sat & Sun 14-15th.Oct
Went over to my cousin-in-law's vacation house to stay over with my sis, cousins and bfs. Yes! The "resort-like" house. Had bbq at night then down for a swim. My aunts and uncles left after supper time, leaving the youngsters ard only but we din played the whole nite cos the girls and bfs were either revising for their O or A levels exams and snacking. We continued our swim the next morning after brekkie. After lunch we had a lil game - the Peanut Hunt. It took us almost 2 hours - hiding and finding the clues and lastly the peanuts. It really tire us out. More like a workout for me after all the climing up and down and running about in the house. And the worst part was I fell into the pool when I was about to go to the slide to search for one of the clues. I had changed into dry clothings alr!! Argh. Had scratches and cuts on my leg. Pain~ After the game went to the home theatre room to watch movie - Just Like Heaven. But cudnt finish the movie as it was almost dinner time when we were halfway thru. After dinner, home sweet home.

Very very bad day!
Today is a very very bad day! I actually forgot to bring my hp out. Arrrghhh. Felt so uneasy the whole day. I only realised it when am in the bus. So much wanted to alight and get my hp but I din cos I know if I do I'd be so darn late for work. Everyday never fails to be late for work for 30 mins. Even on the first day of work, I was late. Why? Bcos I always laze in bed! KUKU. This morning still happily happily thot can be punctual but still I reached ard 845am when am supposed to report at 830am. Why? My stupig shoes bit my feet. Blisters and more blisters as I take each step. I almost felt like crawling to work. *whines*
Every wednesday is supposed to be a early day off work and cud hav meet up wif Flingy. Even Flingy thot the same too but I only realised it when I got home and saw her sms. Too late bcos I forgot to call her before I leave the office. My colleagues were not with me means no way to contact her. Anyway I left the office late so mite ended up keep her waiting. Tmr morning I'll get to see her provided tat I leave my house on time. Hah!
Finally started calling out to the customers since monday. Before tat I've been worrying and kinda freaked out. It seems like an easy job bcos its only calling out but I tot otherwise. I think its a scary task bcos I mite get so unlucky and get to call out to one of those rude, arrogant and difficult customers. BUT am lucky so far. Most of the customers wud jus say they are busy or ask me to call back some other days, minority reject my calls without answering it. Kinda get used to the calling part but the very troublesome thingy is I've to update many things after each call. Awww~ Initially I thot there's only a minority of admin stuff to be done but its isnt so. After 3 days of work, I realised the routine - 60% of my time spent in the office is doing admin stuff, 10% doing call-outs and 30% wud be taking my breakfast, lunch break, snack breaks, toilet breaks, walking ard and chatting. The very no-good thingy is I cant access to the internet. The staffs can use their id to register for internet access but temp staffs don own a user id. I can only surf the company's webbie!! KUKU. Since their staffs can get access to the internet somehow then wad for do they need them to register for it in the first place?!?! Duh!
Oh ya. Watched the Rob-B-Hood last monday. Its really funny and worth watching. And the baby! is so so so cute.
Its sleeping time. 1.05am.

Work wasnt as bad as I thot
Fri 6th.Oct
Finally its FRIDAY! As it was also mooncake festival thus we had a family gathering. After work went to meet my family and relatives for dinner. The family is getting more crowded. My younger cousins brought their boyfriends along and my new born baby niece. After dinner went to my cousin-in-law's house @ stevens road. I was amazed. So big tat it doesnt seems like a house but a mini resort to me. His house got 3 swimming pools, waterfall, garden rooftop with a small swimming pool, gym room, ktv room blah blah blah. Every floor has a master bedroom. But am most fascinated with the level one master bedroom. In the room has another sliding door tat separates the room from the swimming pool. His house is practically surrounded by water. Its really beautiful. Hah.
And talking about work... Yup! Finally I got my lazy arse to work but its a temp job. A short assignment till mid nov. Initially I tot it wud be kinda fun and all tat till I reported for work on the first day. The team manager briefed me on the things tat am gonna do everyday - making calls to the clients. On hearing that, I was kinda sian half of the job. But luckily my mentors - Alice & Trislin and colleagues are really nice people. To get myself and Janet - the other temp staff ready for the bad attitude which we may received from rude, impatient, arrogant customers, we had roleplays of different scenarios on the phone with our mentors and colleagues. As all the calls made will be recorded thus after every roleplay my mentor and I will listen to our previous conversation and correct my mistakes. KUKU. Its jus so funny hearing myself on the phone.
The past 3 days at work was practically very free for both Janet and I as we will only start to make calls from monday onwards. And we need not answer any in-bound calls hence it will be so much easier for us lest customers enquire on in-depth details.
Ytd the management treated all of us Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. *yummie* Well, things and people at work so far so good. Thinking about the nice colleagues I have and it isnt boring working with them as they are always joking and gossiping, am actually aint as dread as I was on the first day of work. And Janet is actually a psychologist thus she wud always share with us some of her interesting experiences she had with her clients.
As blur as I cud be, I tot the normal working hours was 8 hrs but it turned out to be 9 hours except for wednesdays. Arrrghhh. There goes my OT rate. Luckily its only a 5-day working week. Everyday after work I jus feel so tired and cant wait to go home and sleep ASAP. Sound so dead. Hahas. Hopefully I'll get used to the working hours by nex week else I think am gonna spend my weekends sleeping at home.
