Diet on weekends

It was a good morning to start with.
We had yummielicious homemade pasta and potato salad for brekkie.
Thanks to Jo and Jane.

Super pek cek at work today.
Am too used with the FMS but we were given QMS leads. *ARGH*

After lunch not too bad. Working in the office is really very bad. Its all about food and more food. Its jus so difficult to go on diet with my colleagues ard. The day before Joanne baked potato pies for all of us. I thot we wud skip lunch but we ended up having sinful cakes. Amelia always stock up our titbits corner with delicious snacks. Jocelyn who sits besides me can be seen snacking most of the time and she lagi best one laa. She knows am cutting down on snacking yet she still tries to tempt me. She always succeed can.

This week is really darn suay. Last monday we had lunch with Tris and she intro'ed us a handphone dealer whom she gotta know thru Alice. Tris was being nice and helped me to look out for other admin job when I wanted to quit my current job initially. Am so glad and lucky tat I din take up the offer to work in his company. Initially I thot he was jus being over-friendly but after much analysing with my colleagues. We seriously thinks that he's psychotic. Darn freaking psycho. Blacklisted and condemned.

The guys finished their balance while I had tat teeny weeny bit of chivas
and more of green tea only.
I know I wont be able to drag myself to work if I were to booze last nite.

Skipped lunch today.
Thanks to my tiredness and laziness to get outta office.
After a month of non-stop snacking in the office and 3 meals daily,
I seriously think tat I had put on weight. ArRrggHhh.
And I've decided ...
NO more than 2 meals a day and instead of snacking on junk food,
I bring a red apple to work everyday.
Healthy isn't it?

This morning I've confirmed with my team manager tat I'll extend till end of december.
The second half of the quarter gonna be tough.

And I did mention about a new temp will be coming in on monday right?
She turned out to be someone I know but not very close thou. Jocelyn.
Initially when I saw her, I jus find her very familiar but not very sure if she's the one I thot.
And her seat was jus beside me so I thot no harm asking.
Yes. We did went clubbing a couple of times and movie tgt with our frens.
But it happened last year and we din really tok to each other.
She's also currently studying at SIM.
So coincident ya. LOL

2:22pm* Off to do my stuffs. 3 more hrs to go.

Cant wait to get home and SLEEP. *whines*

Monday blues stay away from me!!!

After a whole boring 5-day working week, finally had some fun on a sat nite with Nana. Kaili. Karen. Melody. Fabian. Geng Yan. And it was also a mini birthday celebration for Karen. Met up with them after their dinner, which was like almost 1130pm. Hah! We went to Pitstop Cafe (boardgames cafe) for like an hour. And played SWAP. It was kinda fun. Quite similar to UNO but I think Swap was more exciting and crazy.


The cafe closes at 1am so we gotta look for another chill-out place. Yup! Ktv pub. Can sing, drink and chill. Especially our dear Nana having the itch to sing YU TIAN but the song is too new laa. But I thot it was kinda amusing laa. She die die wanna sing tat song since last week. We thot of going back to G2Bar but it was fully packed. So went to another pub - Cloud 9 instead. I also donno was it the right move. Familiar faces showing up one after another. Darn. I had a very bad feeling tat He might be ard. I donno how to react and all kinds of mixed feelings. My heart was pounding like mad. The next thing I know was Nana had caught Jason's attention. Stunned. I din expect her to do tat. ArrRghHh~ I cant hide myself from him for the whole nite anyway. Its definitely impossible to miss tat someone when a couple of ur common frens are ard, the pub is not freaking big and to top it off, we were seated at the bar counter which is very near to the loo. I jus find it difficult or rather impossible to be frens again. Far worst than strangers. Or maybe its only for now. And you know wad, when I think back I realised sth. The same scenario seems to be repeating and repeating again whenever we bump into each other. I don deny am happy to see him thou it was kinda awkward and I did steal glances at him laa. If after a breakup, one has to go thru a few phases... I guess they are the agony phase, followed by the brain-and-heart-battle phase, the numbing phase and finally the moving on phase. Then, when you think back, you will realise how silly you were at tat point of time and the fond memories. I think am about to proceed to the numbing phase. Am not deceiving myself, am I? *screams*

Like I've said, no matter how you wont miss anyone in tat small enclosure. Its jus only a matter of time. Hah! I saw my ex-classmate, Asmine. I think human beings are really very weird or shud I say interesting? We were classmates for 15 mths but never spoken to each other before thou we knew each other existence. Even if we see each other in sch or had eye-to-eye contact, we wud jus look away. But when we saw each other ytd, very naturally, we said 'Hi' and even chatted for a very short while.

Stayed till almost 6am. Surprise surprise! My dear Nana can actually ta-han till that "early". At least for once I din hear her say she's tired. But tat wasn't all, we went for Mac brekkie before heading home.

I find it hard to sleep when the sun is up and opposite my house got morning "ge-tai" but regardless of those, my tiredness gave in.

Tats how I spent my long awaited weekends. OK! Let's count down to Saturday...

GOOD MORNING !!!!!

Yay! I can access to the internet alr but not msn. Yes. Am in the office now. Only till today then I realised tat I don need any user id and password. All thanks to Linda. Jus have to change the addy in the LAN settings. HAHAS.

Did my daily routine - pull leads, brekkie, read newspaper, sudoku, listen to songs.. Plus I can blog in the office now. Good! Muahahah.. This post gonna be kinda crappy cos am blogging jus to kill time. The morning is over. Its alr 1:06pm. Whee~ Lunchtime. But waiting for Jane and Trislin to come back first. Nita (team manager) isn't in today so we cant go for lunch tgt and have to separate into 2 batch.

Ytd was unlucky laa. I reached ard 9.15am and saw Intan (department manager) in the office. Tats very bad even thou she din say anything. Arghh~ I came in slightly earlier this morning but both of them weren't in the office. Duh.

*Back from lunch* 3:17pm. 3 hours more to go only and here comes Weekends!

Ytd a new temp - Amelia came to replace tat weird weird guy. He's really a passer-by of this unit lo. He took half-day off on his 2nd day of work and MC for the 3rd day. And then, he never appear again. Jane said this department is jus not fated to have guys ard. LOL. There will be another new temp coming in on monday. Good. More people means easier to hit our targeted numbers.

Almost 4PM and I've not make a single call yet. Combed 55 leads but I only have to make 33 calls only. 33 calls in 1.5hr. Its gonna be very rush. I don mind having more uncontactable or outright reject calls today.

620pm. YES. Am done with all the stuffs. Preparing to knock off.

Anyway ytd Nita asked me bout the extend contract thingy, I rejected bcos am alr looking out for other jobs. However, after I rejected her, am having second thots. If not making those irritating calls, I kinda like working here bcos I can do wadeva I want so long my numbers are not too lousy at the end of the day. BUT fortunately I was given a second chance today, Nita jus asked me to reconsider it again. Well, I really have to reconsider again during the weekend. Plus Linda and Jane will be ard till the end of this quarter.

Time to go home. Finally its WEEKENDS again.

8 more days?!

This morning my unit manager has finally popped the question which my colleagues have been asking me to consider bout it - to extend my contract till end of december. I din expect her to pop tat question so suddenly. In fact, I expected it to be some time nex week or maybe not at all. I donno wad to answer her. I jus shot her a blank look. Hah! After today's on-goings, I can see tat there's a very high chance tat most of my colleagues will leave before the end of december. The head-count is really decreasing yet the management do nothing bout it?! The in-charge is really weird laa. Maybe she wanna see everyone resign and than she can perform her one-man show? Anyway, I've decided not to extend if am able to find other temp positions. Am beginning to have the very dread feeling at the thot of making calls at work.

These 2 days darn shagged due to late nights. Almost doze off at work while stoning infront of tat retarded comp.

And yesterday celebrated Kylie's birthday.

Sat 4th.Nov
Nite out with the girls :: Nana. Kaili. Karen. Yvonne. Din know where to go initially. Clubbing? Pubbing? Boardgames cafe? Decided on pubbing but donno which one to go. Walked aimlessly along the stretch of pubs at Boat quay. We thot of going to whichever pub tat attract us but all seems kinda weird. Very selective bcos scare inside is uncles' hangout place. And we nearly went into an indian pub. Phew! And I was glad to bump into Vicki outside one the pubs else we mite ended up going up to tat particular pub and seeing someone whom I shudn't have. Walked from one stretch to another and back to the same stretch again and so coincidentally saw Jacky. Lucky! Don have to search any further. We went to the same pub. It was actually our fren's pub. I din know bout it till he told me. Kinda surprised to know tat Paul was one of the bosses. Now then I realised why tat time he was looking for waitresses so urgently. Thou the process of choosing which pub to go was kinda kuku but afterwhich we did had fun at the pub laa. Haiyo. Yvonne stunned Nana & I. LOL. *shhhh*

PS: Nana shall drink ribena (so long its non-alcoholic) the nex time we go.
She really deserves the title :: P*king Queen. *Opps*

Fri 3rd.Nov
Super slack at work. Can say I don even have the mood for work. I only combed 27 leads. Not even half of the number of leads tat am supposed to comb. I ended up spending most of my time in the office playing the sudoku and stoning. Got new temp came to replace Janet. Linda and I jus din feel comfortable with this new colleague. He seems weird. Especially his stare. Linda was so dots when Nita assigned him to the table next to her. She practically half-back-faced him the whole day. Anyway Nita was unexpectedly nice today bcos she let us knock off 45 mins earlier than usual plus we din even hit half of our targeted numbers.

Thur 2nd.Nov
As promised, Janet had lunch with us on her very last day. I've have never seen her having a proper meal since our first day of work. Everyday she wud jus have a very small portion of food brought from home. And tats all for her brekkie and lunch! Well, weeks back she said tat we shall go to Bakerz'In for cakes on our last day but she resign earlier than expected. Anyway, she gave us a treat at Bakerz'In. And thanks to her recommendations. The food there is really yummy! Jo, Janet and I shared the flakey pizza, bacon & ham penne, warm chocolate cake and baked apple tart. The warm choco cake is heavenly. Topped with a single scoop of vanilla ice-cream and when u cut the cake, the hot fudge wud flow out. It made me wanting for more.
