Christmas shopping

Finally met up with sweet after work last evening.
We haven't been meeting up for a month or so (that's pretty long).

Anyway, we did lots of catching up and shopping!

Dresses, of course! And got my mommy a pair of shoes. Tangs is having the 12% rebate thingy. Sis was very nice, she knew I wanted to get stuffs from Laneige thus passed me her Tangs card for rebates but too bad Tangs Orchard doesn't have it. Yes. I'm lazy to travel all the way to Vivocity. Madness.

The other day was out with white ghost shopping and replenishing the skincare, cosmetics and stuffs. More and more shimmery thingys. I can't resist those shimmery cosmetics. Ended up buying some makeup stuffs, both the natural and shimmer ones. I can't possibly use all things with shimmers and ended up like a walking disco ball. I nearly wanted to get TBS christmas shimmer lotions too.

*I got a pocket, got a pocket full of holes.*

But there's so much christmas sales going on.

Happy Birthday SHARON HUANG!

Fei miu!

I was stunned by her new image.
She's having rashes hence gotta shave off to let it heal.
Okay. So it's her fluffy fur that actually makes her look fat.

I miss her bear look. Ewww~

Peektures @ Pre-events 2

GE Money Dinner and Dance @ Grand Plaza Park Hotel.

The D&D programme for that night was interesting.
The GE Money people very enthusiastic too.
Most of them came dressed up in retro theme.
They even had a mini competition.
4 teams put up a short performance.
Mainly dancing and singing. They were super entertaining.
And I saw LTT. He's working for GE Money.
Initially I couldn't recognise him when he called my name.
I was like, "Who are you?"
He dressed till so retro lah. Not my fault.

Peektures @ Pre-events 1

Busy with event jobs during the past weekends.

Shell Gas Dinner and Dance @ Meritus Mandarin Hotel.

uncle poon drawing our caricature

*ta-daa*

I think that was the most slacking event of all.
Not many were interested in the instant photo.
Probably because the photo booth was placed at some anti-social corner
or maybe the ang-mohs not so cheapskate.

After the event, sis insisted that I should wear the hat too.
People along orchard must be thinking that we are ah siaos lah. >.<

Aftermath was dinner at pastamania and chill out
with Chui and friends at the chui pub.
Kelvin entertained us with his Tokyo movie story-telling.
I'm amused by his mo diun diun. LOL.

New Toy

I really likey my Sony Ericsson K810i. Despite the fact that I've accidentally kicked it off my bed again and again, it didn't throw any tantrums. It has really good temper all this while till the warranty period ended. The joystick doesn't seems to work (most of the time). Initially rebooting the phone did help, but subsequently it refused to give in. Oh, well. It's hinting me to get a new phone, I think.

I wanted to get another SE phone. And after so much of the "browsing and comparing" homework online, I decided on the G900. But it was out of stock! Ok. Nevermind. I didn't want to travel to another Starhub shop, so thought of getting the C902 instead. Then I spotted LG Renoir (KC910). Almost love at first sight. I thought it gonna be quite pricey but there's a promotion plus I've got a $100 voucher. Fantabulous~

I love its slim and sleek design.
I love the camera capabilities.
I love the music player.

I hate the unfriendly keypad.
I hate the troublesomeness when viewing the photo gallery.

White ghost chocolate

Few days back, white ghost called and told me she bought me a white ghost chocolate. Huh?! What is ghost chocolate? So I asked what kind of ghost. Say chinese ghost, english ghost, or marshmallow ghost (ghostbuster)?

She simply insisted it's a white ghost! DOTS.

Okay. So this is her definition of white ghost.

Busy watching drama...

right after my exams.
And back to the routine job.
Hence my sleeping time is seriously not enough. Again.

The Seventh Day (最美麗的第七天). Original cast from 2005's Under the Canopy of Love (天幕下的戀人) :: Bosco Wong, Natalie Tong, Kevin Cheng, Niki Chow. I didn't really watched the whole show. Just the starting, parts of here and there in the middle and the last few episodes. The first few episodes like very slow moving and draggy. And the ending was quite disappointing.

Different people have different attitudes to love - even those born on the same day in the same year do not necessarily share the same views. Yau Chi-Wing (Kevin Cheng) and Hui Wai-Yan or Don Dum (Bosco Wong) were both born on the seventh day of August, but one takes relationships seriously while the other is so money-minded and sees love as a tool to get higher up the social ladder.

The tale begins on the seventh of August, when Wing and Don first encounter their own dream girl on the same island. Wing works as a lifeguard on the outlying island. He gets to know pet shop assistant Ling Ka-Yan (Niki Chow) by chance and is soon mesmerized by her endearing personality. Don who works at a coffee shop meets a romance comic artist called Wong Chi-Kwan (Natalie Tong). Being misled into believing that the girl is from a rich family, Don decides to chase her. He would never have thought that someone as calculative as himself would end up falling into a love trap.

As for Wing, he met Yan. Yan, at first mistaken him to be those bad guys until one night Wing was in a fight and got wounded. Yan helped Wing, and they became friends. Yan liked Wing secretly though. Yan and Wing's grandma became great friends once they met each other. Yan soon finds out that Wing's birthday is almost here so she wants to celebrate it with him but he forgot his own birthday and Yan got mad. Wing, after a while, saw how kind and sweet Yan was, and he secretly liked her too.

Kevin Cheng :: 最美麗的第七天

Kevin Cheng & Niki Chow :: 抱著空氣

Jack is super cute!

Your Class or Mine (尖子攻略). Initially I thought it was those typical lazy-and-playful-students-turned-hardworking-and-got-good-results kind of show, which can be quite boring. But it turned out to be quite entertaining. Pang Kam-Chau (Bobby Au-Yeung) being the Operation Director of the soccer team promised to make the "three treasures" of the Keegan Spirit soccer team into academically fit soccer players and bring the soccer team to the A league. The "three treasures" initially disliked Chau and always against him. Blah blah blah. And the ending was as expected though.

And now in the midst of watching 《搜神傳》...

Legend of the Demigods (搜神傳). A classic fairy story - a fight among human, the immortals and the evil spirits. Gwai Choi-Chi (Linda Chung) is seemingly an ordinary girl, except that luck seems to follow her and keep her out of trouble. Unknown to her, Choi-Chi's mother, Ho Choi Ma, is in fact a plant spirit. When an evil spirit captures Choi-Chi, her mother's secret is revealed. In an attempt to save her, Ho Choi Ma turns Choi-Chi into a demigod.

As a child, Shek Kam-Dong (Benny Chan) was constantly bullied. Wong Tai Sin, a wish-granting god, pities Kam-Dong and grants him extraordinary strength. However, with his strength, Kam-Dong has turned from victim to bully.

An Hei (Sunny Chan) has an unusual illness; he is constantly tired and falls asleep randomly. Wong Tai Sin again tries to help the mortals by giving An Hei a sword possessed by a spirit (Stephen Au). Whenever An Hei gets in trouble, the powerful spirit of swordplay appears and fights off his enemies.

One day, an evil wizard (Halina Tam) disturbs their quiet village and captures Ho Choi-Ma. Together, Choi-Chi, Kam-Dong and An Hei travel across the continent to save Ho Choi-Ma, making strange and magical discoveries along the way.

The show so far so good. Quite funny and entertaining.

Hungry lappy

After so so so long, I finally decided that I should reformat my lappy (and I've gotta move house for the pix and songs. Super troublesome). It's been very laggy and hang as and when it likes. I can't tolerate anymore lah. And since it's the exam period, I think I don't really need it (ehh. I shouldn't even touch it else I'm gonna be so distracted).

And now, everything is happily happily GONE.

I've yet to feed the lappy with the tonnes of stuffs that I need.

The peektures are waiting to be uploaded too.
