He's Just Not That Into You

“He’s Just Not That Into You” tells the stories of a group of interconnected, Baltimore-based twenty- and thirtysomethings as they navigate their various relationships from the shallow end of the dating pool through the deep, murky waters of married life, trying to read the signs of the opposite sex… and hoping to be the exceptions to the “no-exceptions” rule.

I think it's quite a disappointment.
I was so looking forward to watch the movie.

Awwwww.

Bride Wars

I had a great sunday.
After dinner, we spent quite some time in Daiso.
That was fun!

Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway), best friends since childhood, are always there for each other, through good times and bad. Even their respective bridal engagements happen within hours. Together they plan their weddings, each to take place at New York’s ultimate bridal destination, the Plaza Hotel. But a clerical error and subsequent clash in wedding dates pits the two brides against each other in a competition that quickly escalates into all-out war.

Typical girly movie.
It was kinda entertaining and touching (at least to me).
Then, chilling session.
Awww. On the way home, I caught the flu bug.

And on saturday, Grace and I finally had our salmon date at Sushi Tei along with Joanne and Bern.

Relaxing Sunday

Finally had a good long sleep for the week.
And met up with Wynny & co. for movie.

I didn't expect myself watching Red Cliff II. Moreover I did not watch part one. I thought I'll doze off in between the movie. I seriously don't know how to appreciate war-related kind of shows. But surprisingly, I was so engrossed in it. Why did I not catch Red Cliff I?!

After movie, we had steamboat for dinner+supper. Wynny and I ate till super ceng. The guys could still go on and on. Then, headed over to i-don't-know-where near China Square to watch the Man Utd vs Chelsea match. Yes. I actually sat there watching the full 90 minutes match (the last time when I really had the patience to watch a soccer match was the 2002 FIFA World Cup - thanks to Sharon) It was kinda dramatic. The players could fall so hard when the opponent prolly just accidentally touched him. LOL.

The groupie went to Sabai Sabai again. Wanted to go but cannot. Madness. I'm working the next morning. So home sweet home for me.

Busy bee

Watched Yes Man.
The movie wasn't very fantastic.
Prolly because it's Jim Carrey, I was expecting more.
But still good for some laughter.

The recent late nights and work are draining my energy.

The workload at YTL Pacific Star has increased much more than the previous job. Argh. I used to whine how boring work was but at least it didn't make me so tensed up. Everyday busy like bee now.

Ip Man

Ip Man (葉問) is a 2008 Hong Kong martial arts biopic that is based on the life of Ip Man, the celebrated martial arts master of Bruce Lee, and the first to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun openly. The film focuses on events surrounding Yip that took place in Foshan between the 1930s to 1940s during the Second Sino-Japanese War.

Watched Ip Man last night. I'm not really a fan of action movies but still I was keen to catch this on hearing the good ratings from the colleagues. Well, even if I didn't really enjoyed the movie, I did enjoy watching Donnie Yen.
